Tenterden Lions Club will once again be holding their very popular Primary Schools Choir Competition on Tuesday 12th June at St. Mildred’s Church, Tenterden, which has proved to be an enjoyable and exciting occasion for both parents and children on previous occasions. Anyone is welcome to attend and entry is free.
Four schools will be taking part this year, each selecting two songs to sing with accompaniment: – Tenterden, Bethersden, Benenden and Woodchurch.
They will be singing:-

- Rescuer
Bethersden Primary School Singing:-
- 59th Street Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy)
- Banaha (Congolese Folk Song)
Tenterden CoE Primary School Singing:-
- My Favourite Things
- Count on Me
Woodchurch CoE Primary School Singing:-
- When the Saints gospel medley
- Hallelujah
The Judging Panel will be: Revd Cathie Aldiss, Lion Keith Thompson, Miss Ellie Bartram and Mrs Christine Descher.
The winning school will receive a trophy and all participating schools will receive an equal share of the prize money donated by Tenterden Lions.
