100 Years of Lions.
This year, 2017, we are celebrating 100 years of the Lions International and have planned an event that will mark this important occasion.
100 Years of Motoring.
With the abundance of Classic Cars in the Tenterden and surrounding areas, we decided to make the event a celebration of 100 years of motoring allied to 100 years of the Lions.
The Event
The Event will take place on the 10th September 2017 at Little Halden Place Farm, Cranbrook Road, Tenterden, Kent TN30 6UL between 10 am and 4 pm. It is called:
TENTERDEN LIONS CLASSIC CAR EXTRAVAGANZA
We have an 11-acre site with 6 acres for public parking and 5 acres for the show. There will be a display ring for a parade of the different car classes together with a PA system. We are encouraging trade stands including Autojumble sellers etc. There will be catering stands and refreshment areas as well as free to the public, disabled, and motorcycle parking together with toilet facilities for both able and disabled visitors.
Sponsorship
The type and style of this event lends itself to a number of sponsorship opportunities and our objective is to attract, primarily, local businesses to step in and take up these opportunities. This will help Tenterden Lions Club to make a greater success of the event, resulting in even more support for charities.

Classic Car Event Programme
We are producing an A5-sized programme for the event which will be given out to spectators and exhibitors at the show.
